I grew up in the Mountain State of West Virginia, and have always been drawn to the mountains. My wife, Amanda, and I moved to Asheville in early 2013, and desire to make the area our “forever home.” We are attracted to the spirit of the people here, as well as the natural beauty of the area. We’ve found Western North Carolina to be a perfect setting for raising our two daughters, Maya and Brooklyn. As a family, we enjoy hiking, taking advantage of the numerous parks in the area, hanging out on the beautiful Blue Ridge Parkway, fishing, and attending our girls’ softball games and dance recitals.

I truly believe Western North Carolina has it all, and I’m excited to help others call this gorgeous region of the country home.

Buying or selling a home is, for most, a monumental event. My role as your professional real estate agent is one with many facets. I am here to assure you are always informed, navigate the transaction process smoothly, address expected and unexpected circumstances in a timely and thorough manner, and benefit from the transaction in a way that brings the best possible outcome.

After spending 16 years in higher education, I decided it was time to make a positive impact on people’s lives in a different way. While at NC State University, Texas Tech University, and Western Carolina University, I was able to not only help students reach their goals, but work with government agencies, nonprofits, and other researchers to solve complex public affairs and policy problems. From 2015–2019, I served as Director of the Master of Public Affairs Program at WCU. This position allowed me to collaborate with many important stakeholders in local governments throughout Western North Carolina with whom home buyers and sellers interact during their real estate transactions. This experience places me in a unique position to help clients navigate the transaction process while addressing any conceivable issues that may arise along the way. In those times, it helps to know who to call. Through my experiences, I have woven a vast network of colleagues and friends who know how to get things done right and in a timely fashion.

My passion for real estate comes from my passion for people. I have always believed in public service, and I view real estate as a type of service. I have all the tools and connections at the ready to be extremely well equipped to guide you through one of the biggest, most important moments in your life. It’s in us all as human beings to desire a sense of “home.” I am abundantly prepared and eager to assist you in finding yours.

If you are ready to buy or sell your Western North Carolina home, I stand ready to guide you through every step of the process while sharing the excitement of one of the biggest moments life has to offer! Call me today.
